I've seen people get pretty pissed at the axe work performed by firemen. I know...it's completely with a reason, but when your whole life is going up in flames, it's difficult to comprehend.

And here in our township late 60s early 70s when Hell's Black Cobras were performing their arts, our volunteer firemen refused to enter certain areas without police being there first.

Stopped for simply driving at 2am. Wrong. “Being in the wrong neighborhood.” Wrong. But your speeding needs a little context. 5 over on the interstate or through a residential neighborhood?

And most people aren’t happy that they are being stopped. It’s part of the job. If I wanted people to like me, I would have been a firefighter.

I like taking tests, and even drunk (I wasn't), I could pass this.

Field sobriety tests are bullshit, designed to trick additional information out of you that you’re not required to give. Even sober individuals can’t stand on one foot while reciting the alphabet backwards. Every defense lawyer says to respectfully refuse and request a blood test, which you will eventually have to take anyway.

Has anyone heard of the ATF coming to your home to check up on a firearm you purchased at an out of business gun shop? I just had this happen to me. 2 agents came to my home and asked to see a gun that I purchased in 2017 from Gander Mountain. I had since traded it in for something else. So now they are looking into that shop for it. Is this normal?

Kind of makes sense. They are forward tracing a firearm.

My guess would be that they recovered it from a crime scene, as WCMG said above.


My reply would be to hand them the address of the shop where I traded it in. I'd offer them the bill of sale for the firearm. I do keep my paperwork on firearms. Just in case.

Once they saw it go forward they would have no basis for a search/seizure. They could come back if nothing came of it, or they could go about their business.

I don't care for the gun control lobby. The ATF staff are often pretty professional people. They can be hard cases. They can just be people doing their jobs.

So I understand that you can refuse the roadside physical challenges without penalty, but what about the field portable breathalyzer? There is something written in the law about that (can't find it).... can you refuse that with no penalty?

Yes, i know about implied consent for the cour admissable tests. I'm talking about the little pocket sized breathalyzers that they ask you to blow into on the side of the road.
