In case the neighboring junkie comes in with a torch and gets into the safe...he'll be confronted with guns that are secured. (sarc)
Legislating to prevent people's acts is fantasy

The book sellers at gunshows usually have them too.

There ain't anything about them that makes them safe. The lock can be picked with a paperclip and the cable can be cut with a pair of dikes.

Even these are useless since they can be easily bypassed with a small screw driver.

I never had any experience with firearms so when I was issued my revolver, way back when, I still lived at home. I only had a desk drawer to secure/hide it in. I wasn’t carrying around a 4 inch S & W Model 10, especially in the summer. One of the range guys showed me how to put my handcuffs through the open cylinder and prevent the gun from being loaded or firing. Then I just had to hide the handcuff key from my parents

yeah, because hand cuff keys are so very difficult to acquire.

How many keys do you have ? And are they for real handcuffs or the sub/dom Toys ?

At the time my parents didn’t have any handcuff keys.

I think there's a couple tucked in my lockpick kit.

I've seen handcuffs (Smith & Wesson) picked with a paper clip.
