All federal, state and local firearm laws and ordinances must be followed.
    Huh?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

We stopped by the show today at approximately 1:30 pm. Plenty of parking close to the entrance, slightly raining, and no displays for ammo cans, cammo outfits, etc. outside the front door. So we walked in and paid our $8 each.

The show was one room and the room in back was blocked off by a pickle vendor. Didn't see any deals there and much of the gun cases, slings, etc. appeared to be sourced in China for there were few manufacturer's tags on these items. You could buy .223 Gen II Pmags for anywhere between $15 and $10. Tanner's sells them for $9. Plenty of knife and sword displays, all made somewhere else - not a lot of brand names. In addition to other items, one vendor had three scopes marked 50% off. Junk optics, including Osprey. Some nice displays behind glass of pistols for sale at the same high prices we saw at the Allentown show two months earlier.

I did see a Model 1896 Krag for sale for around $850. But the date on the gun was a bit fuzzy on the last digit and I couldn't tell if it was a Model 1898 or one over-stamped on the "8" to appear to be a Model 1896 (rarer than hen's teeth). The cartouche on the left side of the wrist clearly said "1898". Most of the rifle looked in way better than average condition except for the deep gouges on the right side of the lower stock - looked as if a Bengal tiger took a swipe at someone and hopefully just got the rifle.

At times, it was a pleasant walk down the aisles without any crowding whatsoever and at other times, you could roll a bowling ball down the aisle and not hit anyone. It may have been much busier in the morning, but we weren't there at that time.

Some sellers were indeed filling out paperwork selling firearms, but there was no frenetic haste that I noticed from the folks who strolled through.

There was stuff to buy if you were working on fixing something, building something, and were looking for parts to kit it out, but some of the displays for those items looked a bit jumbled and more like a rummage sale you might see at an auction. Even some of the boxes at a display near the door looked worn, dusty, and dog-eared. Mostly had Magpul items. That display did have some Magpul bipods that were nicely made, somewhat different design, and about $100 price-point.

They served food there, but we weren't starving and thought we'd wait and have dinner at home.

After 45 minutes of strolling around, we were finished and surprised ourselves when we walked out the door empty-handed for the first time in a long time.

Still though, this show may just have the "gem" you've been looking for...so feel free to disregard our remarks and keep looking for what's interesting for you.

Second room not used? Nothing outside? Sounds like some vendors went elsewhere, or changed businesses.

Was there Saturday afternoon. I did get a couple of items for projects that I'm doing at home and some Firehouse doughnuts, but it was a sparse show. I didn't return on Sunday, so I don't know if things sparked up a bit.
Know your audience. Don't try to sell a Prius at a Monster Truck Rally.
