No mention of recalling the 100 unsold from dealers Corey G?

No, I am seeing a lot of misinformation out there, people like to see a $1500 revolver fail because they think its too much. I would never spend that on Handgun but thats me, my report was more I could defiantly tell its a line production gun and not hand fitted like the originals. Some where better then others, like everything coming off the line.

Manufacturing problems happen. Yep. And final inspection is there to intercept them before they are shipped. So, I guess some rejects get shipped in error?

More likely, they are final inspecting a percentage, saving time (money) and payroll (inspectors). That may work on LED bulbs, but firearms are more complex.

Sometimes I wonder if the real final inspectors are the consumers.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Short video from Colt explaining problems they’ve seen with loose side plate impacting cylinder turning, mainspring resulting in strikes not hard enough to light off all ammo and a cosmetic issue and end of barrel they thought they caught before any left factory.

    Still interested but can wait.

Tanners has some trickling in, but I think there are 20 or so allocated to folks that have deposits already.

I'm always interested in new guns but I am glad I was able to get an original 1978 years ago. How's that old saying go?? "They just don't build them like they used to!"

I too have read the stories on-line about issues with the Python. I've yet to see one in person. Then again, I'm not into wearing a mask, so I've not been inside a gun shop for probably a couple months.

All that being said, I was very disappointed when I saw the Cobra. With no disrespect meant, I thought they more resembled a Charter Arms snubby, than a $700 smaller revolver, like the K6S.

I'd consider a new Python if it was exceptional...I guess we'll see.

I happened to like the Cobra. I have the King Cobra also and just picked up the Python. The Python is 5000 into production and is perfect in fit and finish. They nailed the blending of new production and old ascetics.
