Tried to order a P80 Large Frame for 10mm and sale was declined. Guess I should have ordered it last week.

I texted Rep. Cook and he said he would be meeting with Metcalf next Monday when they are back in session to see how to handle Shapiro.

And now the PSP has issued a letter to FFLs and promulgated a form for non-firearm objects - https://blog.princelaw.com/2020/01/0...istol-or-rifle

Just talked to my state senators office (Senate Majority Leader Corman), and my representatives office (Benninghoff) and another representatives office (Conklin) to fill them in and to pass my displeasure with the PA AG attempting to write PA law. All three aides asked me a lot of questions about 80% lowers and I explained that the BATFE didn't even consider these as firearms. Rep Benninghoffs aide even asked me what has to be done to actually turn it into a working piece (not just when the ATF says it is a "firearm") I explained the process to him. We also talked about how a person obtains an unfinished lower. I explained that probably very few gun dealers actually sell them because people can buy them on line much cheaper than through a FFL and because they are not classed as firearms by the ATF they can be shipped directing to the person placing the order. He asked "Then how would the PSP know and how/why would any paperwork need to be filled out?" Told him that is what the legislature needs to ask the AG. He agreed with me that he's probably doing it because he wants to be the next governor.

The process is now an sop, break the law until they are sued and ordered to stop breaking the law by a judge.
