Cuomo and Comrade Deblasio need to realize (as the Texas shooting proves) that when seconds count, the police are minutes away. So I propose Cuomo do the following:

1. Repeal the "Safe Act" which makes no citizen safer.
2. Pass "Shall Issue" carry legislation in New York.
3. Enact a "Stand Your Ground" law.
4. Enact a "Pre Emption" statue that would forbid cities and towns like NYC from imposing their own onerous gun control laws.

Those are the absolute minimum things that need to be done so people can be safer. The Jewish population needs to wise up and come to the conclusion that they are not safe and secure anywhere in New York. Every head of household in the Jewish community needs to be armed to protect their own families as it is clear Cuomo and DeBlasio cannot and will not protect them from the animals that currently are allowed to roam free.

I remember when visiting, the old 42nd Street with all of the adult XXX shops & movies. (But that is for another thread ) and then yes it was a nice place to go. Now you have Bloomberg apologizing for the success of NYC while he was mayor, to distance himself from the law & order that brought the results.

It probably had more to do with CompStat than anything Giuliani did. The same system that cleaned it up is to blame for a lot of the mess that is NYC now. It backfired on them.
