I had a NAA .32 Pocket pistol quite a few years back. It was outright painful to shoot and I eventually got rid of it.

Did the fabric over meat test on it with and it penetrated through a 10 inch pot roast and a couple thicknesses of old blue jeans Not a huge wound channel but it was there.

The .32 was used by police for a long time.

Looking forward to the arrival of my 81 beretta.

I'm really nerding out over this. For one, it's a Beretta for cheap. Two, I keep thinking of what kind of police officer carried this (or the main parts)... Was he a normal guy who kissed his wife and kids before going to work? Was he a crooked cop on the mob's payroll? Was he a philanderer who got dressed and strapped on this .32acp to go back to work after a nooner with his beautiful Italian girlfriend?

    Looking forward to shooting it.

That gun looks gorgeous. Classic design. Incredible price you paid.

Was the officer a confident Italian ladies man?

Was the officer a flaming homosexual?

I can't recall but I think they will be plentiful.

Sorry but that's funny, I can't even remember where they ammo guy is that I wanted to go back to on the way out. I recall seeing two different vendors with them and there might have been more.

I picked one up from a local dealer. $200 out the door, tax and transfer included. I've ran about 200 rounds thru it and it's a fine plinking\range pistol. May be a good "truck pistol" as well. Mine has some pitting, but not an extraordinary amount. Fun little pistol to shoot. Ammo can be found on-line at reasonable cost. $0.22 per shot for Fiocchi and $0.17 for something called "Geco". You could go all out and get Prvi Partizan for $0.24\shot.

I saw three dealers, and perhaps more had them . Try Hall A(?) where the main entrance is. He is down the first aisle turning right. There was another one next to where they sell reloading and gun powder stuff. It's a great price but I still want it clean. I could live with some holster wear but some had serious pitting everywhere. I don't want that at any price. They were all going for around $160. There was not exactly a run on them by the time the show was over. I have a Bernardelli (my Italian bride) in 32 and it's quickly becoming my favorite caliber. Much softer to shoot than my Makaraov, and lethal enough for me.

Geco is good stuff - German or Swiss manufacture, I can't recall, but either way it's good to go.
