This is similar BS they tried to pull at the PA Senate judiciary meetings a few months ago---- It got loud in the hallway outside before the meeting. Chants of "USA...USA..." soon followed by a few LEO's herding us in the opposite direction. It could have gotten ugly.

From the live feed above it appears "SB16" was taken off the table----This was probably one of those bills where they throw against the wall to see what sticks-----it's real bad:

"Prohibiting sale, transport, etc., of assault firearms and certain firearm magazines; penalties. Expands the definition of "assault firearm" and prohibits any person from importing, selling, transferring, manufacturing, purchasing, possessing, or transporting an assault firearm. A violation is a Class 6 felony. The bill prohibits a dealer from selling, renting, trading, or transferring from his inventory an assault firearm to any person. The bill also prohibits a person from carrying a shotgun with a magazine that will hold more than seven rounds of the longest ammunition for which it is chambered in a public place; under existing law, this prohibition applies only in certain localities. The bill makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to import, sell, barter, or transfer any firearm magazine designed to hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition."
They removed SB16 in favor of the more restrictive and draconian house bill that's coming up.

I guess it's not just an issue specific to PA.

Looks like calling the militia is going legitimate.

I see lotsa possibility for bloodshed and negative press for the Pro 2A world.
These guys don’t get it. Life is full of danger, stop worrying about antifa. They only go after unarmed victims, and they don’t show up in Pittsburgh, Gettysburg, or any other rally where guns are abundant. The bigger danger is some derp and an ND! Like the Burgh, we need to police ourselves to avoid accidents.

Finally, these rallies aren’t to sway politicians; that’s what lobbying is for. A rally is to make a point known, show others they aren’t alone (and get them involved), and bring attention to an issue.

How about in-between dork and militia? Dorks need to accessorize.

I have an extra Tru-Spec duty jacket that I got in a package of gear on Craigslist. I just dressed it up with a few patches. I wanted to make sure everybody knows they have support from out-of-state. I know I felt good knowing that people came from out-of-state for the Pittsburgh rally. Add a slung AR, a drop-thigh holster, a poofa hat and a Yinzer flag, and I'll be set.

Does anyone want to buy a yinzer flag for the rally? I still have a few left.

And does anyone need a ride from Western PA or from along the Turnpike between Pittsburgh and Breezewood? We've got room for more.
