I'm staying overnight at an air BNB @ 114 North 2nd Street. Our train gets in @1937 if it's on time. I'm not sure if it'll be walking distance from train to the room or not but it should be walkable from the room to the rally. I have a telescoping hand-held flag pole and a large molon labe flag. Oh...and the Mrs is coming too. Due to AMTRAK regs we'll be unarmed. Our return train doesn't leave until 1800 or so so we'll have plenty of time to spare whilst we're down there. We'll probably eat dinner before we leave and I outta find a starbucks and take a dump.

I'm quite sure Amtrak allows locked, unloaded guns in backs stored underneath? You can't go unarmed to the boogaloo!

Edit - yup the station just has to offer checked bags and you're good. Otherwise it's similar to TSA.

They do...to and from the locations that have baggage check available and Richmond Main St. station does not. If I had gotten off and on at the other Richmond station to the north I could have and I'm just gonna bite the bullet this time.
