Annual Harrisburg Rally - June 8, 2020

Just for reference I texted the flyer to some other 2A people I know from PA and other states. Only one even knows about this rally or what it's about. I asked them what they thought.

Here's the replies so far:

1. Ew. I don't like that smoking barrel like that
How bout a flag, or the bill of rights. And y are they pushing the socialism so much on it?

I'm sick and tired of people saying this isn't the same Democrat Party that used to be. Yes, it is. It's not just socialist. It's absolutely anybody with a Democrat name. And half of the Republicans

So, I've heard back from 3 of the 6 or 7 I sent it to. I'll let you know if I get more responses. Again, these aren't people from PAFOA. They are all people that support gun rights in their respective states. Just wanted to give some outside perspective on this, so it doesn't look like I'm "butthurt" or anything.

IMO, nothing will change about it for this year. So, why continue complaining about the same thing, page after page?

You're bothered by a smoking gun. Oh well, not everyone interprets it as you do. Not everyone sees it as killing socialists. Some see it as stopping the ideology. You don't. OK. So be it. Don't like it? Don't use it. Go talk with Metcalfe's staff and try to get involved for next year.

But, to sit here and do nothing but bitch and complain, over and over, about something you don't like is frankly a bit tiresome.

It seems like some here would not be satisfied unless Metcalfe tore it all up and did what you want and if he doesn't, some here are all sorts of butt-hurt.

Correct, I won't be satisfied until he tears it up. Since he won't, we'll have our own.

I was just trying to see if it was somehow a bias by PAFOA or just me honestly, since I'm far more liberal than you or a good chunk of people here. I sent it to different demographics (men, women, different ethnicity/politics).

The replies aren't good, so it's not just me or PAFOA. It's not going to change and I get that, but I wanted to guage reaction before I post, make a video, hand out the flyer, etc. I'm going to have to defend it if I'm the one promoting it and I wanted some ideas. As it stands I'm not going to use this to promote if I can avoid it. It turns more people away/against than it encourages.
