Yes we did, but if we don't make legislators aware of their mistakes we are going to lose this fight. I don't like losing!

Until something else comes along. I printed out several copies of the flyer. Just the bottom half though. The red, blue, the crowd. But not the bottom blue. Put three out at a sportsman's dinner, gone. Sent it to two persons they said they're in. Okay

It's fine to message him, telling him how you feel. I'm just hopeful that we don't have to go through the whole "let's bash the flyer" again, in this thread. We did it once. Seems like once is enough.

BTW: I'm certainly not suggesting that you are doing the bashing, and I do take it lightly, as those couple of comments above may have been in jest.

The thing often forgotten is that our legislators are there to REPRESENT US. We can and should speak up when they're not representing us as we wish.

This is part of the problem with government at all levels...the mindset is that they're "elected officials" now, not "elected representatives". Those who want government to rule over them (Democrats) and the elected themselves all see them as rulers over us, when it's supposed to be the opposite. We are to control them, not the other way around.

Sometimes, some of them need a reminder.

Their refusal to implement term limits is proof that they're in it to serve themselves, not serve the rest of us.

I will tell them when they're wrong, or not on the same page with the rest of us.

Even the best of them like Metcalffe can get distracted by the grandeur of the Capitol.
