On the calendar already. Are we changing the breakfast location this year?

Much later than usual but the kids might be out of school by then and I can bring them for a history/civics/freedom lesson.

I'm guessing the date was shifted because we have to be outdoors since Dictator Wolf put that arbitrary limit on how many people can be in OUR Capitol building. It's not going to work, Tom, you can't keep us from exercising our freedom.

Since it's outside, we won't have to check firearms unless we want to go in for a tour or talk to legislators, right?

Correct. But everyone should really consider going inside after the rally and lobbying.

Meeting out front is one thing, but visiting offices makes it personal. Even if they are not there, talk to their staff. Just tell them, "No Red Flag laws, No Extreme Risk Protection Orders, No Universal Background Checks. Socialism Stops Here."

I don't want to get into this whole "inside/outside" battle again with some on this board, but going inside and lobbying any lawmaker who will listen is very important. That's what creates the buzz.

I will be there with as many additional as I can muster. Definitely planning to go inside afterwards as well.

    ^^^this^^^

I appreciate everyone that shows up for the outside stuff, but going inside is just as important. I always try to visit at least my reps if nothing else on that day. Let them know we're paying attention to them.

Count me in. This event is one of the most worthwhile any member could attend.

Should we do the afterparty again? The dogs are looking forward to giving Gixxer and Walleye a few kisses...

    Yes we should!

But I can't commit yet. There's a couple of things in flux at work.

Absolutely, I'll be there. Hopefully I can snuggle up to alpaca again.
