Re: State police told to treat ‘ghost guns’ parts as firearms
As Empty Mag would say "this isn't the hill to die on" 🙂
Hey if Trump can do it to Bumpstocks aka junky plastic things, why all the rage about hunks of aluminum?

Re: State police told to treat ‘ghost guns’ parts as firearms
Next will be banning possession of both a 3d printer and internet access at the same time (you might print a lower!).
So now "skilled" machinists will be banned from owning blocks of aluminum that "could be" assembled into lowers?
What about 80% Glock frames? They ain't "lowers", so gonna control them too?
Idiots have no clue about how modular firearms are today. I would laugh myself to death if somebody invented a device that was a "molecular disrupter", fully electronic, and posted it to the internet. No gunpowder or explosives, and legal for anyone to build & use. Anti-gun world would lose its mind instantly because it would not be a gun, but 1000 times more deadly.

No need to wait. Emphasis below added by me. Text is from the actual press release from the AG.
Shapiro issued his opinion today on 80% receivers at the request of the Pennsylvania State Police, who asked for formal guidance on how to classify these products under Pennsylvania’s Uniform Firearms Act. Under the Commonwealth Attorney Act, any state agency or the governor can formally request the Office of Attorney General to interpret state law. After an examination of a statute, the expressed opinion is binding on the agency requesting it.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.

Re: State police told to treat ‘ghost guns’ parts as firearms
This is ridiculous beyond comprehension. I hope the very first case they try to bring goes to court. of course, their real intention is to slow down the sale of these items in PA shops and at gun shows, so there is a credit card transaction that can be found or even blocked. There are ways around this until the legislature passes something stupid.
These assholes have to go. We got rid of his predecessor. This guy can't be clean. Maybe we need our own PA Judicial Watch.
Go to your township and oppose and delay any development projects on any grounds you can come up with. Bog turtles are a great delayer. Become an environmentalist for a while. Stop the idjits from importing more idjits. This requires a bit of work, but it works.
Bloomberg rarely pays in cash. He buys "independent" TV ads through one of his captive "grass roots" organizations to skirt candidates' finance reporting rules. This works our way too, so I don't advocate more regulation. Maybe our side needs to spend some money on TV "education" to at least make people aware of that ads are usually paid for by biased organizations. Remember pirate radio? What if we had pirate TV (even to the point of taking over network channels for 30 seconds) ?Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

It will be interesting to see how this affects the Oaks Gun Show this weekend.

Yeah, is Governor Wolf gonna send the PSP to the Oaks to arrest vendors selling 80% lowers? Would love to see that caught on video.
What? What's that you say? "2A Sanctuary Cities" in PA?! Well, the lefties are busy tilling the soil to plant these things to spring up. The more stupid they pour on, the more Freedom tries to grow.

Isn't this something that the legislature would actually have to enact into law?
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
