    Default Colt made by Walther

Just got in for a transfer a Colt 1911-22 made by Walther. Seems to be pretty solid and comes with a threaded barrel. Right side of frame says: Lic TM of New Colt Holding Corp. Slide says Colt Government Model on Right side Colt's Government Model Cal. .22 Long Rifle on the left. Price point is pretty good.

I was looking at those and seemed to be a pretty decent .22 pistol. I haven't decided which one I'm going to buy yet though.

Walther seems to make a lot of .22 firearms (long and short) for a lot of people.

Walther own's Umarex or the other way around (bb and pellet guns) who actually manufactures most of them like the 1st gen S&W M&P full sized .22lr pistol and a lot of the colt m4 22lr clones.

Not a fan of the Walther/Umarex line of look-a-likes in .22. I picked up a used AR15 from them for the wife. Not much more than a BB gun chambered in .22. The rifle looked like a AR15, but didn't function like one or have the same components. Sold it soon after and bought a .22 conversion for her 5.56 AR15.

Can't comment on their 1911 version.
