Re: Shoulder Holster
Nope. If you're looking for the best shoulder holster ever made (in my opinion), look no further than the Alessi Bodyguard.
Here is the best collection of shoulder holster reviews I've ever seen, if you're interested:

Re: Shoulder Holster
IMHO shoulder holsters are of limited utility.

Re: Shoulder Holster
I have to agree with TonyF on this, I usually only wear them during the coldest of winter months when wearing a heavier coat which my impede the draw from an IWB, or when driving across the state.
Mainly just during the long drives, I find it is more comfortable when seated for loing periods of time and more accessible when seated.
For general every day carry I find them to be more of a burden than anything.
And after reviewing the selection from Planet Holser: http://stores.ebay.com/PLANET-HOLSTER I would advise against it, the nylon holsters don't hold up very well IMHO, and your better off going with a holster from a more...reputable holster maker.
IF you do decide to go that route I'd suggest Galco or Desantis or any other premier holster maker.Last edited by jdlv4_0; March 29th, 2007 at 11:54 PM.

Re: Shoulder Holster
A good IWB or OWB with a sturdy belt fits the bill most of the time for most people. But it largely depends on your daily activities, choice in carry gun and your overall build. Also, some folks find even good IWB or OWB holsters uncomfortable.
So long as people don't start spouting the many false conceptions about shoulder rigs, no one will have to deal with another epic post of mine (you know you're all tired of them by now).

Re: Shoulder Holster
I have to admit that made me chuckle.
I drive a 90 mile round trip for work every day -- in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 MR. I'm 5'10" and 130 -- and I barely squeeze in the stock racing seats. Wearing a belt holster for more than 5 minutes is impossible. Most of the time I take mine off and put it back on as I'm getting out. The shoulder holster is a perfect solution (but I only have a Bodyguard for my snubbie, and I don't feel like ordering one for my P7).The material presented herein is for informational purposes only, is not guaranteed to be correct, complete, or up to date, does not constitute legal advice and does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
