Default Where is a good place to buy a stripped lower near Havertown.

I need an inexpensive stripped lower. Cabella's has Andersons for $50 but I'd like a avoid the drive. Does anyone know of any shops near Havertown that sell them for close to that price? I've checked a few and they only seem to have $100 plus lowers available.

Smithgalls in Lancaster has been offering Aero Lowers for $57, but they are not much if any closer. As the crow flies you save two miles, but it is a totally different experience and a much faster checkout..

Best to call first to see if they have them in stock!

Would a lower brought in Delaware need to be shipped to a PA FFL?

    Yes.

Check out TSS in Avondale PA. Follow Rte 1 south and exit at Rte 41 east, 1/2 mile on the left.

So I did some research online and found this:
Quoting from the instructions for Form 4473

"Other" refers to frames, receivers and other firearms that are neither handguns nor long guns (rifles or shotguns), such as firearms having a pistol grip that expel a shotgun shell, or National Firearms Act (NFA) firearms, including silencers. If a frame or receiver can only be made into a long gun (rifle or shotgun), it is still a frame or receiver not a handgun or long gun. However, frames and receivers are still "firearms" by definition, and subject to the same GCA limitations as any other firearms. See Section 921(a)(3)(B). Section 922(b)(1) makes it unlawful for a licensee to sell any firearm other than a shotgun or rifle to any person under the age of 21. Since a frame or receiver for a firearm, to include one that can only be made into a long gun, is a "firearm other than a shotgun or rifle," it cannot be transferred to anyone under the age of 21, nor can these firearms be transferred to anyone who is not a resident of the State where the transfer is to take place. Also, note that multiple sales forms are not required for frames or receivers of any firearms, or pistol grip shotguns, since they are not "pistols or revolvers" under Section 923(g)(3)(A)
I'm going to avoid any possible hassle and find something local in PA.

Thats kind of confusing since I personally know rifles being sold to pa residence at the del cabelas on a daily basis.
Lowers? I'll have to check, waiting for response from my contact.

It is confusing. From what I was able to figure, long guns would be fine to purchase anywhere in the country. Handguns need to be transfered to an FFL. Lowers are considered "other" whatever that means, and need to be transferred to an FFL. I could be wrong about all this but either way, I found out that The Bunker in Warminster has Anderson lowers at $60 out the door.

    Thanks for your help.
