    I laugh when people hunt and search and spend time and effort to seek out a stripped lower that costs a dollar less than somewhere else.

    Back during the 2012 panic, you could not buy a stripped lower for less than $100 - IF you could FIND one for sale. Many sold for WAY more than that - for a STRIPPED lower.

    These days, they are practically giving them away. My advice is to be happy that you can buy one from one of ten thousand vendors for well under $70 and just buy one, and move on to the next phase. There are a half dozen other parts on a build that will sink you FAR more than what a stripped lower costs - even if you were to pay $100 for one.

    I catch myself sometimes doing that with gasoline.
