As much as I love HK products....this doesn't do it for me, especially at the price listed.

I also think it is a bit late to the party as other manufacturers have had competitive products out for a few years now.

What are the thoughts on the POF reverse stretch?

The F/A MP5 shoots great, however its out of reach for most. The semi auto on the other hand, IMO is just overpriced for what you get. If they are released in batches of 500, they will be hard to get. If one should fall in my lap years from now, maybe Ill buy it.

I do however like the Evo3 and the price. Mine shoots great and the couldn't be beat. The trigger spring was replaced as well as the right side safety switch. Now the trigger is amazing and the grip is comfortable.

This is exactly it, for me. I can't justify $2k+ for a semi auto 9mm. I'd love an MP5 or any other legit sub-gun, but this isn't that. Its just a toy, and it's not for me.

Well the local shop called me back, he's putting 3K on it. So I'm not in. If anyone is definitely wanting one and willing to spend on it, call Big Bucks sport shop in cranberry.

The SPK is close to that in price so I wasn't expecting this one to be priced any better.
...on another note, there is a guy who makes semi auto G36 rifle clones and they go for three grand.Lot of damned money for a clone.

Yeah if nothing else, a collector is getting a "real" MP5. It's just too spendy for me for what you get compared to other options. I'm not a collector and I can't justify 3K for a 45 year old platform compared to what I already have.

They hold no appeal to me, I fired them in the Military a few times. For that money I could have 2 CMMG Banshee......in 10mm.
