There's a dealer that got one in very close to me, but he won't give me a price yet "because it just came in and the girl that checks things in and prices them isn't here today."


Not sure I'd buy one other than potential resale later. To me, it's a downgrade from the Scorpion and MPX that I already have. Plus, HK is more proud of their magazines than Sig is of theirs.

The hate that it's receiving by HK fanboys is the receiver block, preventing you from using your sear in it.

I've been watching the thread on HK Pro. In addition to the dislike for the FA BCG block, there's dislike for the 1/2x28 thread (standard threads are 1/2x32), the finish, and a few other small bits.

I'm on the fence. I've wanted a higher quality MP5 to complement my Coharie CA89, but I don't know about dropping that much money right now for a gun I already mostly have. And personally, I'd rather have no threads on the barrel at all (3 lug is better, and the thread protector just makes 3 lug use a bigger pain).
