Me too. I know they are nothing like Sigs or HKs, but I also drive a Ford and not a BMW or Mercedes.

I'v been wanting a .22LR pistol for quite a long time , but more on the lines of a Hammerli SP-20 or Xesse at least.

Good analogy except for Sig. They're more like a Toyota; Always made a quality product, but some turd designs have slipped through recently from US based input.

Why not just get a .22 upper for less than half the price?

It would have been nice if they could have put out something less legendary, and a bit more unique.

FWIW , he did set out to design a striker-fired pistol.

Didn't somebody make .22LR conversion kits for the Glock?

He was contracted to deign the pistol he tuned in several models one blow back one locked breech with the same link-less locking barrel system every modern striker fired pistol is using today which was my point. He died in 1926 and the project was finished by his protege at FN Dieudonné Saive several years later.

Browning owned the patent to the HI power and it was stamped on the side of every HI power produced by FN.

Funny you say that, about an hour ago I received an e-mail from Lambo Armory who is having a sale on them.

They are made by advantage arms

The USA is now a banana republic. Only without the bananas....or the Republic.
