Default Where do you shop when it gets really busy?

Whenever there's talk about enacting more gun restrictions gun sales go crazy, we saw that all throughout the Obama administration. I remember talking to a clerk at a Walmart in Nevada shortly after the wake of a mass shooting during the Obama administration and she said she couldn't keep up with all the gun and ammo purchases going on, it was like Black Friday but only for guns and ammo. Its often in the wakes of mass shootings that they go crazy with calls for stricter gun control but it can also happen when the dems gain or think they will gain a foothold in the political system and they talk about all the plans they have for enacting more gun control. The end result is always the same, people rush to buy all the guns and ammo that they can while they still can.

Anyway, where will you all go for guns and ammo in such events? Its been mentioned here before that most of the people on this forum will probably not go to Cabela's or Bass Pro as those big chain outfitter stores are often overpriced on guns but are you going to go to your regular local gun shops? They could very well be overwhelmed. I seriously doubt anybody here would shop at Walmart or Dick's, I know I wouldn't.

My suggestion is to be prepared ahead of time. If you can afford it buy ammo in bulk or at least extra boxes of ammo in calm times. The same with guns and magazines. Don't wait until times get tough to buy the politically incorrect semi auto you always wanted. Buying guns that use common magazines help such as AR 15 or AK mags. Again get enough mags now and don't wait until the next gun ban comes along.

A lot of hoarders that buy guns and ammo during those times don't have a big interest in owning guns. They just want the prices to go up so they can sell want they just bought at an inflated price. These hoarders impede more people from buy guns and ammo than the anti gun politicians. Sandy Hook buying panic was a good example of that.

Anyone who was around in December 2012 currently has more guns, mags, and ammunition on hand than the local National Guard armory.

Anyone who didn't learn from that whole thing... well, you can't fix stupid.

And when you buy guns on the internet you have to get them sent to an FFL dealer, where would you have them sent?

I don't need any more handguns and I buy long guns FTF, so whatever parking lot is mutually agreeable is where I go to buy my guns. LOL

You don't need any more handguns? How many have you got? If you know offhand exactly how many you've got then you haven't got enough.
