Re: Pistol grip on a Mossberg ... How bad could it really be?
Does it really need clarifying? Apparently, it does so I updated the original post. I was not referring to a PGO setup. I thought that would be evident by the inclusion of the word "collapsible" ... haha. I was looking at an AR style collapsible STOCK for my 590 and a Mesa Tactical Urbino (Benelli copy) pistol grip STOCK for my 930 but I doubt I will get either. I posted both shotguns for sale.

Note to self... must pay more attention to the OP.
I have both types of STOCKS (one is a Turkish cheapo...) and an over and under with a traditional stock. The type depends on what you want it for - hunting? - traditional is best. For defense or "fighting zombies" I prefer the STOCK with the pistol grip for the ability to tuck it under the armpit and support it by holding the pistol grip and reloading with my left hand (works for me...)Cb Μολὼν λαβέ

You used the term collapsible pistol grip,I have never heard of or saw that term before and wasn't sure what you meant. It wasnt that big if a deal to me and I didn't really care if you clarified it or not but good for you that you did.
I saw your sale listing also ,good luck with it.There are no pacts between lions and men.

Re: Pistol grip on a Mossberg ... How bad could it really be?
I guess if the pistol grip stock feels good to you, I see no problem with it on a Mossberg. Really I don't understand this obsession some people have with being able to always reach the safety. Watch various carbine courses, guys always flicking the safety on and off between targets. Why do people insist on screwing with their safety in the middle of a gun fight? When the shooting starts, you turn it off and leave it off until all the shooting is done.
