Freedom Munitions - New Ownership
Received in email this morning:
After a very long Bankruptcy process, HMT Group (Freedom Munitions, Xtreme Bullets) has been purchased by Kash CA Inc. This purchase will allow Freedom Munitions and Xtreme Bullets the ability to re-invigorate the company with funding and new processes that will allow us to make the same great products while still being competitive in this current market.
Please feel free to check out our new lower pricing on ammunition on Freedom Munitions and soon to be lower component pricing on Xtreme Bullets.

The new owner addressed that complaint in the comments.
I used to buy a lot from them, I'll give the new guy a chance if prices are back down to where they were before.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: Freedom Munitions - New Ownership
My issue was quality. I’d have random flyers that I couldn’t attribute to my shitty skill set

Re: Freedom Munitions - New Ownership
I never had a single misfeed from my Freedom Munitions range ammo.
Can't say the same about Remington or Tula or Speer. SPEER WAS THE WORST!Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: Freedom Munitions - New Ownership
My issue with Freedom stems from dealing with them over some used automated cartridge loading and packing equipment. They kept saying for months they were going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, going to take it, etc., and bouncing me from one guy to the next. after seven or eight months I got another opportunity to sell the equipment and did so. I never heard from Freedom after the last guy said, "We'll definitely take it."
I do wish them well.

Re: Freedom Munitions - New Ownership
The animal that I bought from them from around the 2009 2015 timeframe was acceptable for the most part. a lot of their 9 mm was a little bit on the underpowered side, but I did have the benefit of being soft shooting especially for new users. It wasn't that terribly accurate though. Now the stuff that I got after that time frame, pretty much was horseshit. lots of under loaded charges that were horribly inaccurate, lots of failures to ignite on first strike, and some questionable condition and looking around upon delivery. I know they won't bother to read any type of board review of their products, but if they wanted to win someone like me back, they could ship me a couple of boxes of various types for free, and I will give it a fair shake. suffice it to say, with the current pricing of quality brands like Federal and CCI, I see no need to go with their products.
