Does anyone remember seeing the vendor that was selling a conversion kit for Ruger Mini 14 or 10/22? I think they were saying it looked like an A Team gun...but I recall it had a wood stock and folding brace...

I saw a small sign the last time I did Oaks, that might cut short the people who think they know more than the vendors-

THIS IS A GUN SHOW NOT A FLEA MARKET

    Thank Rick Harrison for that.

I work in a service business and not long ago we quoted a job, received a PO in the amount of the quote (~$2300), and performed the work on time. Payment is late, so I call the contact at the customer. He says their budget for the work is $1500, would I accept that as payment? I asked why the PO was for $2300 if the budget was only $1500. He starts stammering; I tell him, "Pay up, sucka!" He did, full amount.

    .
here is the deal. non dealers don't see what dealers do. dealers are privy to far more information than show goers. that would include PA state police postings on the PICS website with directives that mandate 80% receiver sales....non-dealers cannot see that at all. as dealers we also see many off the same guys at shows....you know the guys in regular plain clothes that don't buy anything but observe things and later chase people out the doors or to their vehicles. Keep in mind that the directive put forth to FFL holders is that we cannot sell them without doing background checks on them, although no procedure is in place for that right now. The wording of the directive is that no FFL holder can sell them without a background check.....but those vendors who are not FFL holders would not fall under this wording. to clear things up a bit for those who are "confused" about these statements is that once this opinion was put out, 3 specific shows were named in the release. Oaks, York, and Harrisburg were all named, and as such those shows are going to be closely monitored. Yes, it is now being contested and the state could tie this up in court for a very long time, all the while monitoring those who continue to sell them and those who are buying them. for those who wish to keep their FFL and PA state license to sell firearms....they play by the rules. remember kids....it doesn't matter when you broke the law....it only matters that you broke the law. don't think for a second that the state isn't trying to build a case against this.

If you go to a gun show and don't buy any beef jerky, did you really go to the show? I didn't get any jerky but did get some 45 ACP and a speedloader.

Except if your name is Holder and the law involved Arizona dealers and Mexico.
