I use merino wool base layers then windshear wool pants and a MT50 parka both from Cabelas. Biggest thing is staying dry. I seen three doe and not a single hunter on public land. It was a good day . I pack my heavy clothes in too. If you can keep from sweating you are usually in good shape.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

I wasn't able to go out Saturday because I was at my in-laws, and with heavy ice today and 8-10" of snow predicted for tomorrow I doubt I'll be able to go out . Wife is very pregnant and can't shovel/salt/walk the dog in this slippery crap.

Even though my hunting opportunities so far have been stymied I did see several deer in my usual spots during the October muzzleloader which leaves me hopeful for rifle and flintlock. Saw a huge buck ~30 yards from me but of course it's does only. Maybe I'll meet up with him later this week.
I'm faster than Doc Holliday (with Novocaine of course)

I carry a change of shirts to change out of sweaty shirts when I get to my stand (not the one in my back yard). I use the shirt(s) as a towel to dry off, wait till I get uncomfortable and redress with a dry base layer and a couple layers.
I have a backpack that I also carry a spare jacket and sweatshirt so I can add or take off outerwear as needed.

Since I sit on the ground, the backpack acts as a back rest.
Yes, I carry too much stuff but i use a lot of it when I go in.

Good luck to you and everyone else tomorrow and the rest of the season.
I'll be out on Sat to try for a 2A doe. It'll probly be the Rem 760 in .06. She needs a turn.
Being on Blood Thinners does not help my staying warm,I would bet a lot of other hunters have the same problem unless they are shooting from their bedroom window !
