Re: most affordable gun shop in lehigh valley
The best gun shop I have foundin the L.V. is A.F. Boyers in slatington. They have some of the best prices and services around. If you don't mind traveling a little The Handgunner in topton is pretty good.
If you need smithing in the L.V. Precision Araments in Slatington is also really great. He is a little hard to get a hold of (don't bother emailing him) its best to call. Precision A is also a Class III NFA so you can buy awesome stuff from him like silenencers, SBRs, SBSs, etc.

Re: most affordable gun shop in lehigh valley
And after all that time I still have to see someone beat AF Boyer's price in the LV.
The older I get, the better I used to be.

How much is the PMC? I like it for some things and I buy it by the case.

Re: most affordable gun shop in lehigh valley
Last time I was there it was around 329 a case. I also use The Armory in Virginia Beach, buy on line and they deliver within 2 to 3 days. The are currently 289.99 a case for 223 and there is a 20.00 UPS delivery charge but no tax. This is PMC and they currently have it in stock. If you shoot 45 ACP, The Armory has case lots of PMC in stock for 349.00 a case plus 20.00 shipping. Although I believe these are great deals I did buy a case of 45 ACP PMC before Christmas at Surplus City in Feasterville for 339 plus tax. At that time Surplus city was also selling Remingtom FMJ 9 mm for 227.00 a case plus tax. I hope this info is helpful to you.

Re: most affordable gun shop in lehigh valley
Another deal on ammo I found was at Cheaper Than Dirt. Last month I bought 10 boxes of Federal 45 ACP Hi Shock 230 gr JHP for 21.19 a box. They are still advertising it. It was Law Enforcement Only ammo in a white box instead of the regular red Federal box. It shot well and was delivered within 3 days. For boxes of 50 rounds at that price I believe it's a great deal. I am going to order more for my stash.

Re: most affordable gun shop in lehigh valley
They have cases of "hot shot" 223 brass ammo for $299. It is made by PMC and I have shot 2 cases without any malfunctions. Its actually pretty accurate for less expensive ammo. Its not the cleanest ammo in history but its not the worst either.
I know the thread was old, but I found the thread searching for more gun stores in the LV via google, so I know people are going to do the same thing I did. Just want to make sure to get he word out as I have been to a lot of stores in PA as I am always looking for new places.
Another place for great prices is Ed's Sport Shop in Tamaqua if you are ever in the area.
