Social media custom is that you re-post stuff with which you agree, either with or without comment, but when you re-post absurd things, you explain why they are wrong.

Posting without comment implies endorsement. That's just how most people do it, and most people expect.

Telling someone "you're a fucking moron" and then stopping, is not the same as saying "I heard Bob in accounting say that you're a fucking moron, and I disagree."

Sure but then some might not know what the Gov is doing from his own words. They should have made a comment however as pointed out the 1st post right underneath it is a ďmy Gov is an idiotĒ logo.

Again Iíve done a fair amount of business them and they are very pro 2A.

Not by then. They've yet to clarify their intent despite people asking for clarity.

Hopefully it's just a Boomer mistake, but sharing without comment indicates support for the governor's position.

Got a reply to my inquiry:
Sorry for your confusion - we occasionally share news stories and politics regarding guns and gun laws. The governor posted information regarding long gun transfers that we decided our customers needed to know about. Of course we do not support additional checks - FYI it ties up an employee and we don’t make a lot of money doing transfers.

    Thanks for your concern.

Web page editor lacks communication skills. The post on that page is clear as mud. Looks like the shop cleared up the issue but did they go back and edit the page so everyone understands their position?

Yes they should follow up with clarification as GL pointed out.

Agreed. Every time you share you get the opportunity to make a statement about the share or your position in the header. Right there in the box marked in red.
