Default LTCF for out-of-staters. What county issues them?

    Hey folks,
Does anybody know of a county that will issue a LTCF for folks who do not live in PA. Chester County does not.

    Thanks

Delaware County does. Was just with a friend picking up hers and there was a guy with a South Carolina permit getting a PA one. You do have to have a permit from your home state.

Centre County will also, but as said you must already have a permit from your state of residence to be eligible.

Every county is required to by law.

Many counties are breaking the law.

The person I am thinking of is from Maryland so he does not have a permit as you know it takes an act oc congress to get a MD permit.
He wants a PA permit because he works in PA and he does the bank runs for the business he works for.

Erie, Crawford, Mercer, Venango, McKean, Jefferson, Centre, Lackawanna, and Berks are known to issue to non-residents.

To be eligible you must have your home state's carry permit/license. The only state exempt of that is Vermont since they have no license/permit at all.

Suggest to him to get UTAH Non-Resident Permit. You have to take a class and do a few other things but it is recognized in PA. It's not real expensive either. That way, while he is in PA working, he can carry. He just takes his gun off and stores it (whatever way MD wants it done) when he goes back home.
