Default Is Target Practice on your property in Riegelsville OK?

Hello, I am new to the forum and finally looking set to move from NJ to PA. I am an avid gun collector and shooter looking to move into Riegelsville PA. Does anyone one know if there are any restrictions for target shooting on your own property in this area? The property is over three acres and located outside of the town itself. Planning on filing for suppressors as soon as I close to keep the noise down.
Thanks for any help or advice you could give on this...

If it's outside the town it's probably in a township and any restrictions would be included in their zoning ordinance, which may be available on-line, mine is. Alternatively, you could call them and ask and/or go in person and get one, they might charge a few bucks for a paper copy. Absent anything in the zoning ordinance you are regulated by hunting laws for what you can shoot and distances from other buildings.

Riegelsville is pretty small. It borders Williams Township (Northampton County) and Durham Township (Bucks County) Find the county and check the zoning then you have to determine your topography. It's not a simple answer.

Bucks County township sticks to its guns, rejects major firearms restrictions

This was in the news in September 2019. It's really going to depend upon where exactly you are, I'm not far from Reigelsville and it is not uncommon to hear people shooting on their own property.

I thought all the building distance nonsense and other restrictions were strictly related to hunting, meaning if you are just target shooting, there are no restrictions at all (other than potential "endengerment" and noise issues, of course)

You could be right but I always thought that distance from house was for noise.

Mom sold the place on Sherers Hill Road [Durham Twsp] but we used to have an Easter morning trap shoot every year out over Pinky's field.

Wait until opening day of deer season...used to sound like a war zone.....

3 acres isn't much land unless it's topography is just right and neighbors are set back off their property lines. My kid has 4 and I wouldn't rifle or pistol shoot. He does archery target but not firearms.

Kinda depends on topography and back stop. Dad has 5 and a range we use for pistol/22's. We have a natural hill that is 12-15 feet high and a rr tie/earthen backstop on front of that.
