Default Need Help With Model 19 Grip Choice

This is a new to me Model 19-4 which didn't come with wood grips. I purchased two options of wood grips for identical price and am struggling with which to keep and which to return.

First: original factory grips. The 'issue' here is the finish on the rest of the revolver is PERFECT. The grips are more worn than the rest of it so they look slightly out of place. Flawless factory grips go for way more money than I want to spend (like $150-200).

Second: new production, the obvious issue here is they aren't original.(btw I didn't install these, I just layed them on top if you notice it looks a bit weird)

I suppose the question is - do I want it authentic or flawless?

Both sets look fine, but I prefer the authentic by a smidgen. Your mileage may vary...
Revisiting this, the authentic just look better, notably the checkering is much better.

    Authentic. By a mile.

I always pick authentic unless something vastly improves my shooting.

If ya intend to sell it or post pictures , originals are always the best bet , but those are a terrible choice for shooting magnum loads , in my hand anyway.

Get a set of Hogue finger groove exotic hardwoods if yer gonna shoot.
