Re: Thanksgiving Dinner
I wasn't going to say it earlier, but since we've gone down that path, Thanksgiving is the only time I've ever had to ask someone to leave our home.
Thanksgivings ever since have been stress-free and family-free.

Re: Thanksgiving Dinner
I've been lucky all my life. Never really had that drama that I can recall. Growing up we'd have up to 20 people most years for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Some minor disagreements once or twice, but never anything overly dramatic.
Well except for the time my little nephew threw up his slice of pumpkin pie all over the dinner table. I went with the apple pie at that point

Re: Thanksgiving Dinner
Growing up 20 plus at the dinner table for Thanksgiving. Now past several years were lucky if the kids drop by for an hour due to their Jobs.Gets lonely so were plan on doing a trip somewhere for the Thanksgiving holiday,For Christmas will probably do the same.Sad how growing up is so different from today. Sadder note I bet they will all show up for the reading of my will and testament !
