    Default VR80 shotgun

Seriously considering buying one, its purpose would be HD and zombie apocalypse fantasies.

I'd consider it an insurance policy more then anything else.

I have a VR-60 which has always been great, the guys who got to shoot it at the group shoot will agree. Other than having a specific ammo preference I've had no issues. If I were to recommend one I'd say go with the VR-60 or Rock Island's new bullpup shotgun over the VR-80, because both will save you a few hundred dollars.

All that being said Rock Island pissed me off pretty good with their last "rebate" which turned out to be $50 credit to their shitty online store instead of actual money back.

Everyone needs a semi auto 12ga with detachable magazines. My preference is AK style.
Haven't used any other types but if you're thinking about getting a VR80 or similar I say get it!

I was waiting for the IWI Tavor TS12 12 gauge shotgun to hit the market. Although it's msrp is about $1300.00. https://iwi.us/product/tavor-ts12/

Spending extra money on a semi auto shotgun isn't going to get you reliability, they're all finicky.

It's no secret that most semi shotguns don't work well with low brass. However IWI has a good reputation so I suspect this shotgun will work as expected.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering who was going to use their VR80 for turkey hunting this season? I love mine and with the mods I did to reduce it's recoil it has become my favorite semi-auto 12ga.
