Maybe that's why the Supreme Court refused to hear it as the know the lower court will throw it out. Still it is giving the Anti Media a field day with propaganda.

It’s not the job of SCOTUS to throw out frivolous lawsuits. This suit is based on marketing only because that’s where the open window is in the law.

IF Remington loses the suit they can appeal and maybe it does get taken up by SCOTUS eventually.

However, I think SCOTUS looked at it and realized that lower courts should certainly be able to find their way through to a proper finding.

As stated above, they are staying in their lane.

The media is making waves over it

The suite is about Remingtons advertising the gun used, the plaintiffs say the ad made the shooter use the Remington gun.

There is a law that the manufacture of a product can not be sued for misuse by the user. The suite claims the ads encouraged misuse.

a wad of cash misplaced from someone like bloomdouche near someone who wears a black robe goes a long long way in making the wheels turn quicker against us

so when do car manufacturers start getting sued for drunk driving accidents since they advertise them as fast and maneuverable?

The problem is, at the end of the day it’s not only whether they win the lawsuit. Blitz gas can company Didn’t go out of business because they lost a bunch of lawsuits. They went out of business because they were sued into bankruptcy even though they continued to prevail.Allowing these lawsuits to go forward in the first place may simply be the first of 1000 cuts.

This is still bad news for the gun makers because it gives the gun banners a way to sue small makers out of business easier. Judges will use this as a way to let lawsuits against makers go to trial costing the makers millions of dollars.

If facts are allowed in the upcoming court case, they will weigh in favor of Remington. In the meantime, I pledge to buy as much Remington ammo as possible in support or their upcoming court victory.

Car makers are pushing ads that effectively say "you don't have to pay attention to driving, our cars know when to stop". Just wait until THOSE lawsuits start up.

Like that old joke about the guy who bought a van with cruise control, and set it for 55 on the highway and then got up and went into the back of the van to get something to eat.
