Si vis pacem, para bellumμολ ν λαβέWhat country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!

Re: RURAL KING
Wrong. Rural King is a destination. Macy's shoppers don't say "ok, I got my new shoes and makeup, maybe I'll pop into Rural King too." Malls have good highway access near population centers, and they have dirt-cheap rent for large vacant anchor stores. RK will demo the store and put as little as possible into renovating it. At Beaver Valley Mall, they didn't even rip out the escalators to the upper level of the old Sears store, they just boxed them in with shelves.
They don't want vibrant malls, they want dying malls with cheap rent.

Re: RURAL KING
I spent roughly a year working part-time at the gun counter in the Washington store. While I enjoyed most of my coworkers, very few were heavy into firearms like myself, so I taught them what I knew. RK does have a pretty nice selection over all, their prices are excellent and they have a little of something for everyone.
Their system for handling firearm sales is bizarre, I agree, but there were reasons behind it due to events that had happened in other stores down south. Not saying I agree with it, but from a corporate standpoint, I understand why they conduct business the way they do. They have some management issues, high turn over, and just weird policies, but I can tell you this, they are profoundly a 2A company.
The best part was the damn employee discount. I have more Stihl shit than you can shake a stick at, and was always picking up ammunition. I enjoyed working there and talking with customers.
I still buy things their, guns, tools, ammo, etc. They sell good stuff and junk, just like everyone else.
