Default Polling place in a school carry question.

School closed. Section of the building open for access to booths set up in gym. Normally a middle school.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

Yeah, well, still a school. Still possible to get run through the system.

Keep it concealed if you're going to carry at a polling place located at an otherwise prohibited/regulated location.

    See this: https://blog.princelaw.com/2017/02/1...hool-property/

Commonwealth v. Goslin made it legal to lawfully carry a firearm on school grounds. As long as there's no ill intent (which could depend on who you're voting for), carrying in the polling place would not be illegal, even if the polling place was in a school.

Seems like it affirmed the defense of Section 912(c)/other lawful purpose, but didn't make it legal. You can still be arrested and have to argue that defense (which was successful in Commonwealth v. Goslin). It still seems a bit grey to me...

The Goslin ruling was the Pennsylvania Superior Court, which is the court of appeals and only one step below the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. True, it didn't make it "legal", but it's no longer "illegal". The state legislature has to fix the wording on the statute.

I am very careful not to flex my hands into fists when in a building that forbids weapons. Wear soft shoes, too.

If confronted, there will surely be great fanfare. Depends on whether you want your life in the news. Could be an interesting process.

Ours is also, did not want to be a test case. Did wear my MAGA hat, only received positive comments.
