I'm not broke. Not frivolously spending $5k on something I really don't need is why, lol.

In a world where money was no object, this would have a place of honor at my private home range on 300 acres of land in the middle of nowhere. Or I'd have several mounted on my all-electric hydrofoil yacht.

i agree. With that kind of money one can get an entry model sub gun. They are more useful, compact and a potential investment. Parking this contraption at the firing line of a range, loading it and cranking the handle and getting laugh at by others at the range isn't my idea of a good shooting day.

Replace that hand crank with a gear with a chain ran to a small electric motor.
After that, x axis movement is simple, y is more challenging but doable for elevated positions.
Add in a few night vision cameras and IR illuminators sighted for center screen.
Could run it all bluetooth to your cellphone and an xbox controller.
You could add a touch of AI facial recognition, and program a line of code to spin up and fire anytime the camera recognizes facial features. You would use stationary cameras but have them functioning as motion tracking cameras using the x & y axis turret servos to provide the stationary cameras tracking motion.

    I mean.. whuut.

    Lol.

Do i really need to put the disclaimer not to do this? Lmao

What a load of horseshit. You take this to ANY range and you will have a crows of folks coming over to gawk, ask questions, and wanting a chance to shoot it. Every time I take an oddball gun out to the range, there's always someone who wants to know more. And none of my guns are as interesting as a mini Gatling gun.

I like the way you think. In my uber rich world, you would be invited on my boat.

I don't think you have a grasp of "MURICA"! LOL!
(and you certainly are way off base if you think people are going to laugh at you for shooting one)

I posted it last week in the video of the day thread.
Looks like a cool build for someone with the equipment.
