If I recall correctly, that statement was uttered many times by one Hillary Clinton, one-time de-facto leader of the Democratic Party, in the 90's. So, abortion is legal, but can you tell me one thing (just one) that the democrats have done since then to make abortion more safe, and more rare? Just one thing. Only one.

Abortion laws, like gun laws, negatively affect the poor on a disproportional scale. Ms. Gotrocks jumps on a plane to the Netherlands while Ms. Poor lives with what is. This in no way intended to reflect my personal views on abortion. Just sayin'.

Funny how rigid and narrow-minded some people are. No middle ground or ability to think for themselves. Republicans seem to think they MUST be pro-gun and anti-abortion and Dems , the opposite.

I'm on the bubble between agnostic and atheist , 100% pro-gun and 100% pro-choice. It's nobody's business , or financial responsibility other than the two who created the fetus. I actually believe women who do not have the means to provide for children , on public assistance , drug-addicted , etc , should have compulsory abortions , and in many cases , sterilization..

Since I'm not having any more kids , the abortion thing is basically a moot point with me.

I am a constitutionalist, so I am anti- abortion and pro gun. Firearms ownership is explicitly mentioned in the Constitution, the killing of babies in the womb via the abortion process is not. Abortion is an issue that belongs to the individual states per the 10th Amendment.
