I surveyed the Sheriff candidates on LTCF applications
I'm not looking to make this a political thread and I'm just trying to report what I found. As we all know Todd Martin is not well loved on this site and we should care about his successor.
Ken Morris:
Talking with firearms investigator to come up with the best plan to issue same day permits. Also will make sure that no ones personal information is made public. Renewals will be same day
He stated most people use their friends as references so they do not get many bad references. I thought this was interesting and I agreed with him.
I then told him same day permits would be great, but that most people would be happy with just dropping the illegal references.
Kurt Cummings:
If elected, he would look into modifying a few things for the department and the county.
I messaged both candidates on Facebook and got polite timely responses. I encourage you to do your own research and vote.

Here's some more info about Kurt Cummings in this thread.

He's also being sued for discrimination and I believe he's also dealing with a bankruptcy, you cannot become a police officer with these things over your head, there is no way he should be in charge of the sheriff's department.

I'm really hoping that Ken Morris isn't like his predecessor because he's getting my vote.Last edited by Hodgie; November 2nd, 2019 at 10:59 AM.

Re: I surveyed the Sheriff candidates on LTCF applications
More evidence that he has no idea what the sheriff's office does and he'd be in way over his head.
