    Default My new CC/OC holsters

Thanks go to Lucas for helpful tips and instruction. I made them all by myself otherwise. I hope I did the thumb break correctly.

    Yes they are leather!

Now which handsome holster/gun should I wear to the OC lunch on the 26th? LOL

Very cool! About how much time do you have into them? Also, did you do the stitching by hand, or do you have a machine capable of stitching leather?

They are hand stitched and took forever! Even though I premade every hole, I had to make them line up on each section of leather. Lucas said to glue the 2 pieces then make the holes, but I think I need to see what he is doing for aligning the grooves I made to make the stitch holes. Ok, I am speaking Chinese to anyone but Lucas and others who know how to work with this type leather...

I need the actual gun to make a pattern and to mold the leather, so I can only make them for an XD9 or .40 sub, XD 4" , S and W 617 with 6" barrel, and standard size 1911, either a Colt, or a copy that is same specs. I do have someone who wants one for a CZ in 9mm and she is going to make a trace outline of the gun, I will make a "blank" holster and she can wet the leather, mold the gun into it, let dry, then dye and finish with the top coat. She said she has a Tandy Leather and can buy what she needs. The dye and finish and gun molding are the easy parts! It's for her BF who lives in NE ( she lives in TN and was OCing an HS2000 today, including to an art museum she is doing computer something work for! The one lady didn't care, but the "art *** wannabe" was squirmy). BTW that Omaha mall the shooting was in last year does not have a "no guns" sign anymore, she has been there since the shooting.
