Source for a 10/22 Receiver?
Can anyone tell me of any local dealers that carry Ruger 10/22 (or aftermarket) receivers? I'm only looking for a receiver, not an entire rifle.
Please note I am looking for a LOCAL dealer within an hour of the Scranton or Harrisburg areas. I need this short notice so I'm not looking for an online source.Last edited by MT1; October 31st, 2019 at 10:08 AM.

Brownells sells 10/22 receivers, could order one through there to your local FFL.
I know you already said no to online, but I have never seen a 10/22 receiver by itself on a shelf without the rest of a rifle attached to it.

Re: Source for a 10/22 Receiver?
Thanks for all of the feedback. I think I'll just look for a used 10/22 and strip it down.
The cost of the 80% plus bolt assembly wouldn't be a cost saver.
