That's a Federal license, isn't it? Is it good in PA?

I make copies of everything, including the ltcf, d/l, ssc, yada yada. I also saved all my expired "permission slips". Never had to use any of it, just feel that it's a good practice.

Maybe it's time we let our state reps know that the LTCF procedure for a lost license should be handled similar to a lost driver license. That is: if person applies for a duplicate, they make a verification that the person was issued a LTCF and issue a duplicate.
Nothing is going to change just complaining about it here.

That is true and it would be interesting to see if they could be convinced to get involved with how the various police/sheriff departments handle issuing of the licence.

OP reapply ASAP and maybe while your waiting the wallet will turn up. One other thing to thikg of is, if a bad guy got your wallet, he now knows you have guns in your house. Keep an extra eye out for bad guys. You didn't happen to have a house key in your wallet, did you?

Like someone else said, you can always produce it at your arraignment. I copy mine and carry the copy.

Might be a catch-22 situation. Let's say the LTCF is in the middle of the 5 year span. Anyone authorized to inguire will be informed that a valid license exists.

If you drive leaving your operator's license at home, you are charged with fail to carry, not driving without a license. What are the penalties for fail to carry a LTCF?

If you do not report the loss of a LTCF, you are still licensed. If you report the loss and it is cancelled, you are not licensed.

What if you are actually arm robbed of your wallet. No negligence there. There should be provisions for obtaining a duplicate while remaining licensed.
