Can you get a new one fairly soon? I know Allegheny has some pretty flexible hours. That may dictate your risk tolerance of being unarmed vs. getting in a jam with law enforcement that wants to push the issue.

I got mine in 7 minutes. That includes walking from the car where my wife left me off outside.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Well apparently from what I'm gathering as of right now I do have a valid license to carry until I go to Washington County Sheriff's and tell them i lost my allet and ltcf.... they void it and I start the process all over again and they do another background check and I have to wait 30 to 45 days just like Allegheny County. So in that time I legally cannot carry even though I technically had a valid license until 2024. Laws are fucked

Well no shit. When you find it, you stop looking. You always find something in the last place you look.

Each county is different. My daughter applied, first time, and she had it mailed to her in 12 weeks. I did a renewal at same sherif, and I walked out with the new one.

30 to 45 days? Ridiculous. I guess this makes a case for making a copy, and keeping that in your wallet. And keep the original at home. Anyone know if that is legal?

    12 weeks? Isn't the maximum 45 days?

It's almost as though we don't have uniform firearms laws in the state.
