My MPX 8 inch pistol has a Sig Romeo3 on it. It’s the same as the Romeo 1 but with a short riser to cowitness lower 1/3. I bought it for $249, but they do pop at around 200 occasionally now. They seem hard to find cheaply. If you want, you can mount mine on your 7.62, it would be a good test if it holds zero, and I would probably add one to my build whenever I get it done.

That's just me though - that's why it's great that there are so many options.

I like the look of that Holosun 510 - nice, big glass. I just can't justify the $300 price tag.
With the 510c you can change the optic to a dot and it has several brightness levels,
and if not mistaken, it adjusts brightness automatically to environment conditions.
With the solar power, battery life is expected to be ten years.

Just found this on Amazon, Primary Arms and Optics Planet....Nikon Spur. I don't see what the warranty is and does not include a mount, but it is a known brand.

If you wanted to try before you buy, I have a wish special that you could try in house, it doesnt hold zero for real shooting though

Interesting. I hadn't seen that and I thought I had scanned thru all of them on Primary Arms website.

$150 and has a 5 year warranty - not bad.
IPX7 (fully) waterproof and has a nice, 3 MOA dot.
The only thing it's missing is auto shutoff, and still need a riser, but that still brings it in at the bottom end of the name brands in regards to price.
EDIT: I found a vid where factory rep states 12 hr auto shutoff!!! Bonus!

Now the only drawback is finding a RISER. Nothing I'm seeing suggests that one is available.
Not sure if another brand riser works - unsure HOW they nount. New to these types of reflex sights.

If you were to purchase through optics planet you could get another 5% off and free shipping.

Use coupon code 704TACTICAL for an extra 5% off. Unfortunately I’m not finding any valid 10% off codes.

I just tried the above code and it worked giving $7.50 off the Nikon.
