The range has been updated and the facility and training will accommodate all skill levels. New shooters as well as veteran firearms enthusiasts will find this location welcoming, with a friendly, educated staff in a bright, world class setting. It is suitable for the entire family.

The range employs the most comprehensive safety features including the best in industry ventilation system, advanced range climate control, ballistic rubber and steel throughout to maximize safety and minimize noise, and well-trained firearms experts and Range Safety Officers.

Law Enforcement and Security Organizations will be welcomed for private use of the facilities, including exclusive use of the firearms range and classroom, and the GPS simulation systems.

Those not in the Law Enforcement or Security industries will find training options to fit their needs as well, including classroom, live-fire, and simulation experience training programs.

Well worth the wait, GPS will be the Premier Philadelphia Area Firearms Range and Training Center. Additional information including website and contact information, and Grand Opening Events dates to follow. Looking forward to meeting you this summer!
Great to hear! Will you be selling firearms as well?

Thank you all for positive feedback. We are excited to be part of the community and look forward to seeing you when we open.

We will be open to the public and will have a full Pro Shop with firearms sales as well as a variety of training options. In the next few weeks, we will provide updates, including Grand Opening information and some photos. As we get closer to the opening, I will start a new thread with additional details.

    Stay safe...

Hey all. Drove by today. It looks great and seems to be close to opening. They have the signage out front, repaved parking lot, etc.

    Hi all,

I wanted to provide an update on the progress of the new range (replacing Double Action). We are putting the finishing touches on GPS Gun Range & Training Center, making sure that we are ready to provide everyone with an amazing experience. To answer a few concerns: our ventilation system is the best in the business! Our range is also climate controlled, with full HVAC. Our retail pro shop will offer firearms and gun related merchandise for sale. We will offer firearms lessons, conceal carry courses, and NRA programs as well. And we are in the process of applying for an Act 235 school. Additional courses for security and law enforcement agencies and personnel will include handcuffing techniques, using expandable batons, and OC and aerosol spray courses, as well as tactical firearms options.

We are planning a soft opening early this Fall, with the official Grand Opening to follow. We will add information to our website soon with detailed updates. Thank you to those who signed up for our newsletter. As soon as we have definitive details in place, we will begin sending those out.

We are excited to meet with all you to show you what GPS is all about! We are eager to hear your feedback.

And Fats429 - we will have membership opportunities. I will be adding information about our limited "First 500" membership offer on our website soon. (For those interested in being part of our Founding Members club, the "First 500" will give you the opportunity to become part of GPS history.) Since you asked, I will be happy to discuss your being our 0000001 member if you are still interested. Thank you for the support!
