I know a guy from Upper Darby who did that with a S&W 357 back in the 70s. Smith re-barreled it and sent him back the original barrel with all 6 bullets in it. The owner said every time he fired it the recoil got worst and worst and he didn't see any holes in the paper target. He was very lucky.

Another reminder here is that you should get medical training and keep a first aid/stop the bleed kit with you at the range.

I made a squib happen while reloading, but I knew to look for it. Was seeing how quiet I could make my T/C Contender in 300 Whisper (father of the 300 Blackout). No issues as I was checking the paper and bore every shot, and pushed it right out using a one piece cleaning rod with a jag. Glad he wasn't hurt, always pays to be careful.
