Your subdivision likely already has them. They just aren't as vocal within populated areas as they are in the sticks. I had one in my yard two blocks off of State St. in Media, DelCo, back in the late '90s. Back in the early 2000s, a coyote snuck up to within 10' of my next door neighbor across the street while she was gardening in her flower bed. It must have been perplexed at why that big, floral print barn was moving. It was just her backside protruding from her flower bed.
You should have tested the theory that you can't hit the broad side of a barn with that thing. You never know, you might just get lucky.
