clear out the feral cats and traumatize the imported libs.
so far it has just been rumors but we do have the scout reserve as well as DWG forests nearby. plenty of habitat, plenty of feral felines and trash.
I've been seeing them for years in Delaware State Forest, my camp is in Middle Smithfield so you have more around you than you think

I have a few in my back yard on cams but only sporadic shots every few months.
I was picking up something at my friends house last night at dusk and one took off running when his dog started after it.
I'm thinking about getting a furtakers permit to hunt them during the first week of deer season.

I.hope I dont shoot a cougar by mistake.

    Good to see you.
Thought we lost you to the wilderness.

I’ve been seeing and hearing them for years as well in Delaware state Forrest. Around Pecks Pond, south of 84 on 402. I’d agree, anybody in that area who doesn’t think that there’s lotsa them in that area is probably mistaken.

Ha. There I was, a " Lost and Lonely child, living in a world of fear".

Then, by the grace of the hunting spirits, I shot a small deer in the wilderness of my back yard.

A cool small racked nontypical in my freezer thread.

    I'm kinda in and out.

Just let the cat out. They'll come around.

Your subdivision likely already has them. They just aren't as vocal within populated areas as they are in the sticks. I had one in my yard two blocks off of State St. in Media, DelCo, back in the late '90s. Back in the early 2000s, a coyote snuck up to within 10' of my next door neighbor across the street while she was gardening in her flower bed. It must have been perplexed at why that big, floral print barn was moving. It was just her backside protruding from her flower bed.

I drive out Kunkletown road to Saylorsburg going to work and have seen them during the daylight hours. Some are pretty hefty looking too. They have to be in Stroudsburg.
