I just did a quick check on P.G.C. coyote harvest numbers and the average number of coyotes reported harvested from 2014-16 is 38,000+. The table showed a continuous increase in coyotes harvested annually.

My daughter saw one take a cat in her yard last week. She is in a wooded area in Erie. Another friend in Bucks near the Delaware has a pack that comes through his property. They need to be hunted. If not, we'll have people raising them as cute puppies in their homes in eastern bucks.

can't wait for them to move into my area.
clear out the feral cats and traumatize the imported libs.
so far it has just been rumors but we do have the scout reserve as well as DWG forests nearby. plenty of habitat, plenty of feral felines and trash.
There is no way to make it out alive...

I don’t see this as a problem at all... actually, a benefit.

When I lived in Colorado I had new neighbors move in and they had a cat that was indoor/outdoor. I told them we had Coyotes around and not to let the cat out, especially at night. The next week they had a missing kitty poster up on the cul de sac's mail cluster box. Fluffy wasn't missing, Fluffy was a Coyote snack.

Yep one benefit to the coyotes is them eating the outrageously out of control feral cat population here in PA. The foxes go for them too.

I don't mind the odd coyote now and then but when a big pack is around, time to clean up.

If there was a choice between a Feral Cat Population or Coyotes Multiplying I would Prefer the Feral Cat Population.Cats can get Rabies But Coyotes can increase the disease 10 fold !

I have seen one in the Poconos behind our cabin. He ran when the spot light went on. While you can hear them howling there, they dont come near as a pack.
