Re: Red Flag Abuse
They are going to treat this exactly like DUI checkpoints. Yes, it violates the constitution but it's for the "greater good" so it's ok.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

Re: Red Flag Abuse
No. Government or law enforcement does not need to be involved.
Families can "red flag" Grandpa on their own, by locking up his firearms for him. There's no need to make it a legal issue or have laws for it. Personal responsibility begins at home, not at the police station.
My mother-in-law had a massive stroke and how has Alzheimers. We never needed the Government to come bust the door down to confiscate her driver's license and car keys. We did it on our own. Cars are more dangerous than firearms statistically. You do not see an age limit for driving do you? Nor should there be. Re-testing for competence maybe, but no age discrimination. Some people still "have it" at older ages, some people don't. It's not the Government's duty to decide.Galations 6:9...And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Re: Red Flag Abuse
and there should be a high 3 digit million dollar lawsuit against anyone involved for violating his rights , starting with the arresting cops, the chief of police , whoever authorized the raid and confiscation on down to the "stool pigeon" for "slander, liable (since its written) and anything else you can make stick, you need to start making examples of those piece of shit traitors that constantly trample the Constitution to appease the demodouche whiners who are infesting our country and trying to turn it into another mexico

Re: Red Flag Abuse
Red Flag are specifically tailored to sow discord among the citizenry and are now a very convenient way to punish those that dare to exercise their freedom of speech or exact revenge on political enemies. This is socialism in its natural form.

Re: Red Flag Abuse
Here is another one. The permanent ban was not imposed, but the guy still had to spend money fighting the confiscation without due process, having to prove his innocence.
In the second case, the police "mischaracterized facts (a/k/a "lied") in the affidavit supporting the proposed order -- to be filed against a kid who did not have firearms. Get used to that. Some cops are going to lie to get their way, just like they did to that guy up in Tisdale, MA. Again, citizens have no recourse to fight against the lies.
