The wife and I voted no. She asked what it was about and I did the best I could. She seemed to understand it's a bad idea. My number was 102 & hers was 556. What was your numbers? Lets hear it!

Well here in Monroe County there are over 7000 votes to change is and less then 1500 no's at this time. I'm sure this is going to pass unanimously throughout the state. I sure hope the ACLU and who ever else they are working with puts up a good argument in court to get this killed for good.

That’s good, what happens from here. Is it automatically dead or do they just spend 6 million more on trying to get it passed a different way.

Reading some of the comments in that above link made me shake my head. It appears people most likely conservatives are mad at the ACLU saying that “of course all they care about are criminal rights.” Are people truly this obtuse? They completely fail to look at both sides of a very complicated issue and never put themselves or their loved ones in a situation where they might be accused of a crime they didn’t commit. #METOO comes to my mind being I have a young son.

We already have a victims rights bill in PA that covers most of what was mentioned in the statement on The referendum so why are these readers not asking themselves why are they trying to amend the state constitution with the goals of amending the federal down the line?

The law abiding need our rights as well in order to make sure we do not become victims of the state and it’s unjust, unconstitutional laws.

    Fucking morons.

The votes were tabulated, but will not be certified.

    Crime Victims Rights Question

    https://www.electionreturns.pa.gov/

    Votes:

    Yes: 1,696,299 (73.84%)

    No: 601,001 (26.16%)

Scary thought: Of those who voted yesterday, nearly 3-to-1 have no conception of constitutionally-protected rights and the importance of the presumption of innocence and of the right to confront the evidence and the witnesses against oneself.

How else do you think the Democrats are winning? People have no freaking clue and the bleeding hearts paint everything as rainbows and butterflies if you vote blue.

Low voter turnouts don't help either... Chester County had less than 40% of registered voters. Of those that voted ~55% were democrats.

It is incredible how unknowledgeable of the COTUS people are in general today. The other day, on a pro gun Facebook page, someone asked a question about "If the federal government ever abolished the 2A....," and no one until me told him that the federal government has no such power and to read Article V.
Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.
